About Itzy.io

A long time, to get to such a short place

Itzy.io was born out of a personal interest in URL shortening. For years, I've been intrigued by the various URL shortening platforms available, yet the idea of developing my own always seemed just out of reach due to time constraints and other commitments.

In 2018, I finally brought Itzy.io to life, with the primary focus being the development of my URL hashing function. After establishing this foundation, I designed a straightforward platform intended solely for my personal use. Itzy was, and remains, centered on simplicity and efficiency in URL shortening.

Recognizing the potential for a broader audience, I decided to share Itzy.io with the public. Today, I continue to dedicate time to improve and evolve the platform, adding new features and ensuring a smooth user experience.

My goal with Itzy.io is clear: Provide a top-tier URL shortening service that offers valuable insights into link performance, easy link management, and an intuitive interface—all at no cost to the user. While financial gain was never the driving force behind Itzy.io, any revenue generated will certainly be appreciated.
